Unfortunately the minpin has a reputation for being nippy and yappy. A lot of people believe that they have to accept this to own this wonderful little breed. What most don't realize is that they don't have to be this way. With experienced breeding and socialization, socialization, socialization they can be stable, happy, attentive companions.

I breed for temperament first and foremost. Without good temperament, you have nothing. I handle my puppies frequently from the day they are born. I introduce them to new situations and experiences as they grow. As soon as their ears open, I play CDs of traffic, birds and weather storms. I play a CD of Bill Cosby for the laughing and clapping. By the time they are 8 weeks old they have met children, been on car rides, been outside running free and have either been to dog shows or a local pet store many times.

I let their mothers do the weaning and never separate them. The puppies mix with my other dogs, under supervision, from the time they can walk.

I give a lifetime health guarantee. My puppies are CKC registered and have all champion pedigrees. Their tails and dewclaws are done and they are fully up to date on their immunizations and dewormings. They are sound in mind and body, trusting, fun loving affectionate and intelligent. I do not crop my companion puppies.

I provide a contract that addresses the pertinent issues and protects us both. The companion puppies are $1,000.00 and the show puppies start at $2,000. A $350.00 deposit will guarantee you a puppy. I will refund this deposit if, for some reason, I cannot provide you with the puppy of your choice. A deposit is an indication of your commitment and will not be refunded if you change your mind. It's a big step - think it through carefully

Once in a lifetime breeding

Malaysian Ch Liberty Prince of Red

Ch Patapin Pearly Gem

Pearl is our best female. She had not been bred for a couple of years when Rocket did a fly by. Now that she is all warmed up, we have decided to breed her once more and then spay her. We are just so impressed with Tim Bit.

Pearl has been bred to Prince. This litter will be a close linebreeding on Pearl as well as a close linebreeding on Shiloh. Again, the pedigree can never be repeated and it speaks for itself. February 6, 2008

On November 9, 2007 Cameo and Prince had two clear red girls, a stag boy and a black and tan boy. Cameo is a Can Champion and comes from the best North American bloodlines available today. Prince is a Malaysian Champion and American major pointed. He has held his "hackney to die for" to this day.

On November 11, 2007 Legacy and Prince had a black and rust girl and a black and rust boy. Leggy is a full sister to Can Ch Next Episode (Sequel), #3 in Canada and multi- group winner, and also a full sister to Swedish Champion Patapin Poignant Memory. Memory is the #2 minpin in Sweden.

Introducing Princess at 5 weeks!!!

Introducing Princess' personality!!!
Patapin Princess. Princess is a real character. She is the larger of the two clear red girls. She never misses a meal. In the following pictures, you will see Princess walking (could that be hackney?), playing, sitting (or riding the cushion) and giving her stag brother a good swat.

Introducing Girlfriend at 5 1/2 weeks

Girlfriend is Princess' smaller sister. She is a going concern. Look at Girlfriend playing, bouncing across the floor with her ears flying and being naughty by climbing. She is the only climber so far, but has five eager students. December 18, 2007

Introducing the black boys!!
LB CB
Meet LB (Leggy's boy) and CB (Cameo's boy). The slight indentation on CB's coat near his top, rear is our way of keeping him identified. It is a shaved area. These boys are just six weeks old this weekend. December 21, 2007

Sadly I am pulling his neck out of kilter - it really is long and elegant January 13, 2007

Leggy's black girl and Cameo's black boy were presold.
It's sad for the show ring but lucky for the pups. They have wonderful forever homes!
