Unfortunately the minpin has a reputation for being nippy and yappy. A lot of people believe that they have to accept this to own this wonderful little breed. What most don't realize is that they don't have to be this way. With experienced breeding and socialization, socialization, socialization they can be stable, happy, attentive companions.

I breed for temperament first and foremost. Without good temperament, you have nothing. I handle my puppies frequently from the day they are born. I introduce them to new situations and experiences as they grow. As soon as their ears open, I play CDs of traffic, birds and weather storms. I play a CD of Bill Cosby for the laughing and clapping. By the time they are 8 weeks old they have met children, been on car rides, been outside running free and have either been to dog shows or a local pet store many times.

I let their mothers do the weaning and never separate them. The puppies mix with my other dogs, under supervision, from the time they can walk.

I give a lifetime health guarantee. My puppies are CKC registered and have all champion pedigrees. Their tails and dewclaws are done and they are fully up to date on their immunizations and dewormings. They are sound in mind and body, trusting, fun loving affectionate and intelligent. I do not crop my companion puppies.

I provide a contract that addresses the pertinent issues and protects us both. The companion puppies are $1,200.00 and the show puppies start at $2,000. A $350.00 deposit will guarantee you a puppy. I will refund this deposit if, for some reason, I cannot provide you with the puppy of your choice. A deposit is an indication of your commitment and will not be refunded if you change your mind. It's a big step - think it through carefully
