Beauty finished her championship at the Trillium Dog Show on October 31, 2009. She finished undefeated in the breed ring with two BPISS!! At Trillium, Judges Michael Hill, Joe Walton and Kenneth McDermott agreed on her quality, giving her the breed over Specials.
She is seen in the photo, with Keke Kahn who gave Beauty her second BPISS. Not bad for 12 1/4" of dynamite. November 1, 2009.

Beauty showed Nov 6th to 8th in Grand Rapids Michigan. After going reserve for two days, Beauty took the breed over two specials. One is the winner of the Motor City Miniature Pinscher Specialty and the other is currently ranked in the top 10 minpins in the country!!! It was quite the upset <G>

On November 21st, Beauty showed at Kent and made the cut in group for the first time. She then went on to win the Puppy Group.
Thanks to Judge Sharron Derrick.

On November 22, Beauty took a Group 4 and another BPIG.
Thanks to Judge Kathy Stewart.
Beauty has broken into the group!!

Now that Beauty is a Canadian Champion, we are concentrating on getting her AKC championship.
On November 28th, Beauty showed at East Lansing, Michigan. She was awarded BOW by Judge Mrs Thomas Gomez. Just one bitch short of a major.

Beauty showed in Cleveland and went Winners Bitch and BBE on December 11th under Judge Rawlings.

On December 12th she went Best of Breed under Judge Ray Fillburn Jr.

Beauty is singled out and looking for majors.

On January 16, 2010 at Elgin, Beauty took the Breed over adult Specials and went on the receive a Group 4 under respected Judge Richard Meen. Dr. Meen commented that when Beauty finally got her act together she is very stylish. He has never seen anything quite like her before. Congratulations to Beauty who is currently the #1 minpin in Canada! <G>"

On March 14, 2010, Beauty competed in the Purina National in an entry of ten. She pulled it all together and took the breed, thereby winning $50.00 towards her upkeep and redeeming herself from the day before. Way to go Beauty!!

On March 13, 2010 Beauty lost the breed. She was her goofy self, jumping over all the seams in the carpet, wriggling when she was moving and coming to an abrupt halt half way down the down and back. Way to go Beauty, you do make me laugh!

On March 14, 2010, Patapin Red N Ravishing took BOW and Best Puppy to Beauty's breed win, for two points. It was Ravi's first show and she made us proud.

Lower Mainland Show Report

The Sun didn't feel like showing at Canada's largest dog show so Sunshine got his butt kicked all four days. All I can say is that it was well deserved.
Junior's brother Flash attracted crowds every day and received rave reviews.
It was great to see all my true dog friends and I thank you for your encouraging words about how to motivate Sunshine - some of which were quite humorous.
On a brighter note Patapin Precious Lehua (Roxxi) at exactly 6 months of age won her class two days and went RW female on the third day. She is a bouncy, highly spirited puppy and when she gets it all together she is going to be stunning. Roxxi couldn't have a better home and is owned and cherished by her new mother Kathy Cameron. October 31, 2005

At just 6 months of age Patapin From Sur With Love (Junior) and Patapin Proud Showing Machine (Flash) entered their first show.  It was the large highly competitive London show and in three days Junior went WD, BOW and BOB x3 for 8 points.  Sunshine showed as a Special on the third day and well respected American Judge Dorothy Hutchinson gave Junior the breed over his Am Can Ch cousin!  Junior then went on to win the Puppy Group.  They said it couldn't be done but Junior has a short hard back and movement to die for!!
Flash went RWD x3 and Best BBE in Breed and then best BBE in Group!  They are two very beautiful black brothers. October 17, 2005

Sunshine is going to have a nice rest before traveling to the Dallas Miniature Pinscher Specialty next weekend. July 3, 2005

Gabby said what is this second string silliness? and stopped gabbin' and started showin'. She then said that if Sunshine can do it, then so can I ! Gabby was shown twice on the weekend, finishing with 15 points thanks to a Group 3 and BPIG from Judge Ray Smith and a group 3 and BPIG from Judge Jacqueline Rusby. My apologies Ms Gabby, I underestimated you! June 26, 2005

Sunshine entered the ring for the first time since February. In only two days of showing he was awarded a Group 3 and BPIG by Judge Terry Carter and another group 3 and BPIG by Judge Elaine Boutwell.
Gabby is taking the "slow boat" to her championship. She is what I call my second string and is not destined for a specials career. In two days of showing, she went WB for 1 point. She is now sitting on 9 points and is obviously in no rush <G>. June 19, 2005

Gabby showed for two days on the weekend. Half her competition got disqualified so instead of finishing she came home with just one point. Gabby now has 8 points.
Roselyne picked up the slack in her two days of showing by going Group 4 and BPIG under Judge Larry Kereluke and Group 2 and BPIG under Judge Jack Ireland.    (May 30.05)

On May 1, 2005 Patapin Belle Roselyne finishes her championship in style with a Group 3 and BPIG for 5 points. She went on to win the Puppy Group the next day. Roselyne is BPISS Ch Patapin Sunshine Express' sister. Roselyne is Ch Patapin Proud Survivor's 10th champion. Quality Begets Quality

2004

On December 12, 2004, Mouse took the Breed over Specials under Judge Jack Ireland for 2 points!
One of the Specials defeated by Mouse was his brother Lee. At barely 7 months of age, Lee is more interested in having fun in the breed ring. Lee will be going to shows as an observer and enthusiastic supporter of Mouse until he is mature enough to re-enter the ring as a Special.
Lee will be the minpin at ringside, clapping his paws wildly as Mouse struts his stuff in the ring!
