The
black brother's had an identical weekend. Junior makes his American debut
and goes BB for a 4 point major over top ranked American specials under
Judge Dan J Moore. On the same day, Flash makes his British
Columbia debut and goes BB from the classes over top ranked Canadian
specials under Judge Butch MacDonald. Flash thinks its funny that he might
have put some noses out of joint as his class competition then pulled.

Junior entered
one day on the Labour Day weekend so Patapin Play
it Again Sam (Sam - Cameo and Cash) and
Patapin Poetry in Motion (Poetry - Panda and
Flash) could participate in the Sanction Match.
Poetry took a Group 2 and not to be
outdone, so did Junior under Judge Norman
Corbett! |

pretty good weekend: Judge B Watt gave him a Group 4
and Judge John Ross gave him a Group 3. May 7, 2006 |

Lower Mainland Show Report |
The
Sun didn't feel like showing at Canada's largest dog show so
Sunshine got his butt kicked all four days. All I can say is that it
was well deserved.
Junior's brother Flash attracted crowds every day and received rave
reviews.
It was great to see all my true dog friends and I thank you for your
encouraging words about how to motivate Sunshine - some of which
were quite humorous.
On a brighter note Patapin Precious Lehua (Roxxi) at exactly 6
months of age won her class two days and went RW female on the third day.
She is a bouncy, highly spirited puppy and when she gets it all together
she is going to be stunning. Roxxi couldn't have a better home and is
owned and cherished by her new mother Kathy Cameron. October 31, 2005 |
|
|
At just 6 months of age
Patapin From Sur With Love (Junior) and Patapin
Proud Showing Machine (Flash) entered their first show. It was
the large highly competitive London show and in three days
Junior went WD, BOW and BOB x3 for 8 points. Sunshine
showed as a Special on the third day and well respected American Judge
Dorothy Hutchinson gave Junior the breed over his Am Can
Ch cousin! Junior then went on to win the Puppy
Group. They said it couldn't be done but Junior has a
short hard back and movement to die for!!
Flash
went RWD x3 and Best BBE in Breed and then best BBE in Group! They are
two very beautiful black brothers. October 17, 2005

Gabby said what is
this second string silliness? and stopped gabbin' and started showin'. She
then said that if Sunshine can do it, then so can I ! Gabby was shown
twice on the weekend, finishing with 15 points thanks to a Group 3 and
BPIG from Judge Ray Smith and a group 3 and BPIG from Judge Jacqueline
Rusby. My apologies Ms Gabby, I underestimated you! June 26, 2005 |
|
Sunshine entered the
ring for the first time since February. In only two days of showing he was
awarded a Group 3 and BPIG by Judge Terry Carter and another group 3 and
BPIG by Judge Elaine Boutwell.
Gabby is taking the "slow boat" to her championship. She is what I
call my second string and is not destined for a specials career. In two
days of showing, she went WB for 1 point. She is now sitting on 9 points
and is obviously in no rush <G>. June 19, 2005 |
|
Gabby showed for two
days on the weekend. Half her competition got disqualified so instead of
finishing she came home with just one point. Gabby now has 8 points.
Roselyne picked up the slack in her two days of showing by going
Group 4 and BPIG under Judge Larry Kereluke and
Group 2 and BPIG under Judge Jack Ireland. (May 30.05) |
|

Roselyne, under Judge Michael Woods.

Taylor gave him BOB over specials and BPIG. Then on Sunday, not to
be outdone, Judge Jackie Browning gave Sunshine BOB
and a Group 3. At he tender age of six months 3 days, Ch
Patapin Sunshine Express finished his
championship with points to spare!! A huge thank you to the Judges
for their additional comments on Sunshine's quality. History does
repeat as Sunshine's dad, Ch Patapin Proud Survivor
began his show career at six months of age with a Group 2 and BPIG.
Quality begets quality. |

2004 |
|
On December 12, 2004,
Mouse took the Breed over Specials under Judge Jack Ireland for 2
points!
One of the Specials defeated by Mouse was his brother Lee. At
barely 7 months of age, Lee is more interested in having fun in the
breed ring. Lee will be going to shows as an observer and
enthusiastic supporter of Mouse until he is mature enough to
re-enter the ring as a Special.
Lee will be the minpin at ringside, clapping his paws wildly as
Mouse struts his stuff in the ring! |
